The most valuable impact managers can have on the results their organisations achieve is not through the application of technical know-how or of their analytical and cognitive abilities but through the quality of their leadership.
We have developed and delivered high quality coaching and training programs for managers from CEOs to supervisors in Australia and overseas. We have the capacity to create a management development program to enhance the delivery of great results by the managers in your business.
We use the Human Synergistics LSI and Leadership/Impact® to help people understand the ways in which they think and behave and the impact their approach has on others around them.
We provide coaching at all levels from CEO to front-line supervisors.
The Life Styles Inventory (LSI) is an assessment tool which distinguishes and measures twelve key thinking patterns, or styles, that are either effective or ineffective in helping us to achieve our goals.
The LSI has been successfully used by over 1,000,000 managers and 240,000 organisations around the world in the past 20 years.
Their results have indicated that significant connections exist between individual LSI scores and the development of:
The LSI process has two parts, a self-assessment and an assessment by five others, chosen by the participant and who know him or her well.
The self-assessment provides the person with the opportunity to take a close look at oneself. In a sense, it acts as a mirror, reflecting back the image you have of yourself. Sometimes this image is flattering and reassuring, sometimes surprising, and other times difficult to accept.
Whatever the results, the self-assessment promotes lasting performance change and improvement by increasing personal understanding of one’s thinking and behaviour. Unlike many other self-assessment tools, this assessment provides a quantified measure for looking at one’s strengths as well as self-defeating behaviours, so that you can further improve upon strengths and target the areas in which one needs to change.
Feedback from others plays an important role in the process of understanding how we are “really” doing. As individuals, we have our own perceptions as to how effective we believe we are in the workplace and in our lives.
Our trusted colleagues and friends do not always see the same qualities in us as we see in ourselves. As we work to become better leaders and managers, one of our most serious difficulties is our lack of accurate and honest feedback. Looking at ourselves through others' eyes provides information essential to our self-development.
Often what we mean to do is not what others see. Learning the difference can greatly enhance our self-awareness and support self-improvement. And this is what the feedback from others aims to achieve.
The LSI provides a person with the valuable opportunity to take a close look at themselves through the eyes of five others who know them well and this request for feedback opens the lines of communication between them and those with whom they work. This can result in benefits such as:
