Tools and processes

We use the Human Synergistics LSI and Leadership/Impact® to help people understand the ways in which they think and behave and the impact their approach has on others around them.

We provide coaching at all levels from CEO to front-line supervisors.

Leadership/Impact ®

The Leadership/Impact tool is designed specifically for those in leadership roles - primarily senior managers and CEOs and represents the cutting edge of research into leadership effectiveness.

It is built on the knowledge that, for executives to be leaders, they must transform, shape and influence the environment within which people operate and the ways in which they approach their work and interact with each other.

L/I provides those in leadership positions with unique insights into their leadership strategies and the impact of these on the behaviour and performance of those being led. It is this researched relationship between strategies and behavioural impact that makes L/I unique.

L/I provides leaders with information on:

• Their Impact on others - the extent to which the leader motivates or drives people to behave in constructive, passive/defensive or aggressive/defensive ways.
• The Leadership Strategies they apply - the extent to which the leader personally acts in a way that guides activities and behaviours towards goals, opportunities and task accomplishment or ways that constrain or prohibit activities and behaviours
• Their effectiveness - both at a personal level and within the organisation.

The tool includes feedback from eight others which is presented in a comprehensive report that provides essential information for leaders and organisations interested in improving performance:

• It compares the current impact leaders have on people to the ideal impact they say they want to have.
• It reviews the manager’s own perception of their leadership strategies compared to the description of others.
• It reveals how the leader’s current leadership styles and strategies are shaping the behaviour and performance of others in the organisation - and indicates how to move toward leadership strategies that impact organisational effectiveness, performance and productivity in a more positive way.
